I'm not sure if anyone else remembers Flat Eric but I sure do. He was a Jim Henson reject puppet who appeared in Levi's commercials about 10 to 15 years ago. There were a series of commercials where he and some French guy would drive around the United States trying to escape from the cops.
French electronic music producer Mr. Oizo recently used Flat Eric in one of his music videos (Flat Beat) and has once again created another video with Flat Eric in it. This time around, he's finally released from prison, where apparently he ended up after those Levi's commercials. The signing out officer? None other than Pharrell Williams.
