Keeping the Green and Gold Alive

These dudes are legit.  One of them, Colin Baxter, was the executive producer of Sonicsgate; a documentary detailing the absolute shady dealings that went on between David Stern and Clay Bennett to uproot the Sonics from Seattle and ship them to Oklahoma City.  Stern's panties were leftover wet from OKC's foster home care they gave to the New Orleans Hornets immediately following Hurricane Katrina's ass-kicking.

Well, Colin Baxter and his buddies weren't too thrilled about losing their team after 41 years of loyalty from the Pacific Northwest city.  So they did what any other die-hard fans would do: spend $4000 a seat, plus airfare and hotel, to be present directly behind the Oklahoma City Thunder's bench during game 4 of the NBA finals.

Die-hard indeed, literally.  The walking dead Seattle fans are sending a message, artfully tactical at that.

And So It Has Been Done

Only natural for Supreme to do another collaboration with an artist I completely respect: Daniel Johnston.  However, all of Supreme's fan base will have no idea who he is (almost the same as the Harmony Korine collab).

Disappointed though, as no images of Daniel's famous "Hi How Are You?" graphic has emerged yet.

Best Team in the World

Us.  Not you.  Chelsea FC.  The greatest team in all of the land and nothing else matters today.  You can still support your team tomorrow, but everyone takes a backseat to Chelsea FC today.

The Greatest Comeback Ever

Haven't been blogging much lately. One of the main reasons: SPORTS.  Way too many important sporting events going on lately (Clippers, Chelsea, Angels)

If you didn't witness this Clipper comeback against Fat Randolph, The Other Gasol and the Memphis Lucky Shots then you were probably one of the 90% of people that changed the channel.  Here's a recap for you:

American Children Are Pussies

You think Romanian kids have Boy Scout meetings?  You think they have Leap Frog and Sesame Street?  Running water and cable?  You think Romanian mothers cut the crust off their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?  Hell no, they have Rammstein!

8 Year Old Girl's First Hardcore Song

She loves her dog, Robert, and her fish. Not sure why she's pissed though. WOOOO!

Drunk Man Arrested: Sings Entire Bohemian Rhapsody

Clearly he wasn't THAT drunk if he could sing the entire song. I've done countless drunken renditions of this song, and NONE of them sounded this good.

Also, I know it's Canada and they have a higher standard of education than moronic USA, but he is the absolute most eloquently spoken drunkard I've ever heard.

Holy Shit: Bebop & Rocksteady Cosplay

Don't get me wrong, I love pictures of hot chicks strolling around Comic Con in skimpy little Lara Croft or Sailor Moon costumes but these dudes get my vote for Cosplay of the Year.

It's amazing how accurate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle foes' costumes are.

Nostalgia concert for me. Adolescence reminiscing at its finest.

Bring Back Free Radio

Lance Krall came and went (not sure if he's coming back again) but his Free Radio show was pretty damn hilarious. If you're not familiar, the show was about a fictitious, dysfunctional, failing radio station that interviewed celebrities. Lance wrote and starred in the show. But relax about his Asian comments, he's actually half Vietnamese.

The Bourne Series Continues

When I first heard one of my favorite film trilogies was going to have a new installment WITHOUT Matt Damon, I was pretty upset. However, finding out they didn't try to cast someone else as Jason Bourne but rather created an entirely new character allowed me to calm down a little. Then this trailer released, and now I'm pumped up to watch this series continue.

Daisies, Smiles, Frolicking and Prancing Around

ERRRRR! WRONG!

More like complaining, nagging, ruining everyone's day just because your losing enough blood for a full grown man to die from.

Books....Check 'em Out

Every post that we make regarding books will be titled with "Books, check 'em out," or other variations of it. There are actually a couple of them lost in our archive, but I managed to find one of them. When Borders closed I bought a handful that'll take me a couple of years to finish. I just finished the third book from that pile so on to the next--the one I'm reading now is Naked by David Sedaris. Anyway, this is a pretty awesome stop-motion video of a bookstore in Canada. I'm sure it took a lot of time rearranging the books so it's worth your time. Check it out.

The Dog Almost Dies

About two months ago I posted the first leaked version of Major Lazer's new track Original Don. Here's the video finally and even though it's not the style of their other classics, it's still weirdo as shit.

Yuletide is Nigh

A 600,000 LEGO brick Christmas tree was erected at St. Pancras Station in London. Before you ask, it took two months to build.

Must Have: T-Shirt with Glasses Cleaner

I swear, if a finger even comes near my glasses I can't see out of the fuckers anymore. Trying to watch the game at a bar, eating peanuts, oh my face itches, scratch, wait who just scored? All I see is squiggly fingerprint lines. And I don't dare clean my glasses, because that stupid little four inch black glorified kleenex square is at home.

BUT, if I had this $90 shirt from Japanese clothier fift I'd be set.

Hmm, I wonder what cycle I'd have to wash it on?
