Lance Krall came and went (not sure if he's coming back again) but his Free Radio show was pretty damn hilarious. If you're not familiar, the show was about a fictitious, dysfunctional, failing radio station that interviewed celebrities. Lance wrote and starred in the show. But relax about his Asian comments, he's actually half Vietnamese.

Never Aired Apple Commercial
Steve Jobs narrated this commercial in 1997 when Apple was in the midst of their "Think Different" campaign. Apple decided to have a familiar voice narrate the commercial instead and enlisted actor Richard Dreyfuss. 14 years later, this commercial still breathes inspiration, emotion and forward thinking.

Luis Guzman!
How to Make it in America is coming back for a second season. I for one, am a fan; and have been a fan of Luis Guzman since he and John Leguizamo were on House of Buggin' my freshman year (1995).

Lockout Professionals
You just wait and see; soon enough Blake Griffin will be in more commercials than Lebron and Kobe combined. Why? Because he's more exciting AND is shaping himself into an extremely marketable personality.

Overused Phrases
You all have a friend that uses one saying far too frequently. No worries, they're just words.

Frickin' Sweet!
FOX has picked up a Napoleon Dynamite cartoon featuring the entire original cast for voice overs. Pretty sure it'll air with The Simpsons and Family Guy on Sunday "Cartoon" night.

Tattoos, Piercings and Unemployment
Portland, where the young go to retire.
When Sarah told me about a show called Portlandia, I said "What, is it about tattoos, piercings and unemployment?" She sat quiet for a second then replied "Uhm, yeah, actually it is."

Tyler, the Creator - Sandwitches (Feat. Hodgy Beats)
Live performance on Jimmy Fallon the other night. Clearly, OFWGKTA don't really care what anyone thinks about them, which is shown here on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Being backed up by The Roots and with Mos Def in audience, Tyler and Hodgy continue to do whatever the hell they damn well please; which attributes to their brilliance.
Fuck Steve Harvey!

Juicy Contradiction
Starburst OWNS when it comes to commercials. This one is no exception. A Scotch Korean man, it's a contradiction!

Brick Tamland and Ron Burgandy Reunited
That's right folks, 'ol Ron Burgs and dipshit Brick are partnering up again. This time on The Office. Will Ferrell has signed on to guest star on four episodes of The Office, playing a branch manager just as incompetent and inappropriate as Michael Scott. Let the good times roll, fuck you San Diego.

Coco O'Brien
As if no one has been anticipating his come-back, Conan's been promoting like there's no tomorrow. Pretty ridiculous commercials on TV, but the suspense ends tonight! at 11:00pm of course.

The IT Crowd
My previous post reminded me to write something about The IT Crowd. It was accidental, actually, discovering the show. I was flipping through the channels aimlessly after a short day at work, and here were two guys kissing each other (yes, that was the hook for me).
Here's that particular scene:
Anyway, The IT Crowd is a British sitcom, revolving around three characters that make up the I.T. department (located in the basement of a luxurious office building). Everyone loathes the IT department, but we all need 'em--and that's exactly what the show is about; the three going about their lives dealing with staff members that despise them.
I'm gonna probably need to buy the previous seasons; I'm a bit late jumping on the wagon.
Here's one for the road

This Is England '86
New TV show takes off where the This is England movie left off. Well, a few years later, when the fashion of the time wasn't as cool. Same cast, same characters, same style; just a different time.
