Meet Tinkle and Bailey

the newest addition to the family!

Here's a video of them enjoying their nightly snack (crickets).

These guys are pretty low maintenance. They sleep during the day so you can go about your daily tasks without worrying about what they might be up to. They eat just about anything so buying specialty foods isn't an issue. They don't eat much in general and we feed ours fruits so it's almost like they're not really there. The only thing that takes time is catching the crickets to feed to them.

Queue

Since all my free time consists of job-searching and Netflix. Trimming that list slowly but surely.

Bad Art

One thing that should never be used as canvas is a car. Absolutely no part of a car should ever be used to display any form of art, ESPECIALLY god awful art.

So, WTF is this!?

Greek God Statue?

No, that's just Blake Griffin.

Ladies are wet, guys are jealous, defenders are envious and I'm proud to be a Clipper fan (no homo).

Post Drinking Gourmet Late Night Snack

I always over-order after a night of drinking. And, Del Taco's delicious menu is usually responsible for that. Not coincidentally enough, Del Taco is also responsible for the ass grenades my toilet has been receiving this morning.

Thursday Update: What Ever Happened To....?

Let's play a game....

Every Thursday I'm going to post a picture of someone (or something) that we haven't heard from in a long time.

Today's winner:
Amy Winehouse.

Legends, Pioneers, Innovators. Respect.

This picture speaks volumes. Left to right: Futura 2000, Lee Quinones and Fab 5 Freddie. Legends of graffiti art and hip hop standing together in their late 40's/early 50's.

This picture was taken outside the MOCA in Los Angeles. Lee was commissioned to illustrate murals on the outside of the museum for this weekend's opening of the exhibit "Art in the Streets", which will highlight Los Angeles street art from the '70s and '80s.

Dr. Doom, Hulk & Toy Story Legos

We were in Las Vegas this weekend for March Madness and made a point to stop by one of our favorite show's shop, Pawn Stars. Chumlee wasn't there but his face sure was plastered all over merchandise. After the Pawn Stars visit we drove over to Toy Shack; which is owned by Johnny Jimenez. On the show, Johnny is often called in as "Rick's buddy" to appraise toys and drop some knowledge.

We picked up a Dr. Doom 12", an Incredible Hulk 12" and Toy Story Legos.

Boogie in Thailand

Visiting his wife's motherland, Boogie (a personal favorite of mine) snapped up some epic photos. A new book is sure to come.

Quick background on Boogie for you guys: An immigrant to America, New York specifically, with a lifelong passion for black and white photography. Rose to recent fame due to his work on the production of How To Make It In America. Boogie supplies the photography stills that have become a key characteristic of How To Make It In America's cinematographic uniqueness.

Follow the jump for 4 more pictures from his trip....

Figure Collection

It's no secret, we have a pretty good sized collection of toys/figures. (vinyl, plastic, resin, ceramic etc.) Many of which have been pictured on here in the past. We recently purchased a few additions to the gang that should arrive in the next few days (pictures to come). Until then, here's a two quick shots of some of our goodies.

President's Day, I Hate You

Holidays serve as excuses for retail businesses to have huge blowout sales. This includes otherwise unimportant holidays like President's Day. Fact is, no one shops after Christmas. So President's Day, the first "holiday" to fall after the Christmas shopping season, is strategically used by just about all retail businesses to boost first quarter sales.

I fully expected our store to be dirty and ravaged but I didn't expect to feel violated and abused at the end of the day like I did.. Here are some pictures to showcase just how filthy some people are. The complete lack of respect and absence of any kind of morals by just about 99% of our customers yesterday was astounding.

Dedication 101

Out for Tui the Good Samoan's birthday tonight, came across this guy. So what if I've just been in a near fatal car crash, I need a drink. #dedicated
