Love Padlocks

A trend started in Cologne, Germany in 2008 on the Hohenzollern Bridge. Lovers would affix padlocks to the fence that lined the bridge and then proceed to toss the keys into the Rhine River below; a symbol of their everlasting love. Many of the locks are engraved with names, dates and small messages. Mad cornball but still pretty cool when you see what the fence has become today.
