Get Used to This Picture

You'll be seeing it a lot.

Blake Griffin in a suit. The Clippers number one overall draft pick will not play a single minute of professional basketball this season. Team doctors just decided this afternoon that he needs to go under the knife and will be on the shelf for 4 to 6 months.

Griffin will continue in the newly found tradition set by Greg Oden (who also didn't play a single minute his rookie season). Hopefully Griffin doesn't end up never amounting to anything too.

Maybe one year the Clippers can have a full roster for at least half of the season. Oh wait, they did, back in 2006. And that healthy squad finished a single game away from playing in the Western Conference semifinals. Oh the joys of being a Clipper fan.
