Panyee FC Short Film

This is a short film about a small Thai boating town's soccer team and how they came to be.

King Smurf

We spent Saturday in LA: ate at The Counter "Build Your Own Burger" restaurant on Sunset and Fairfax, shopped at Meltdown toy store on Sunset, grabbed some drinks at Riordan's Tavern on Figueroa, and finally the Staples Center to witness the Clippers beat up on the Raptors.

Here's some pics of our pickups

Ashley Wood's World War Robot "Dropcloth" hand designed by ThreeA toys

10" King Smurf coin bank imported from Belgium

And we're not typically "Marvel" fans, or any comic books for that matter, but I love the bulkiness, detail and size of these two figures:
Marvel Select Incredible Hulk

Marvel Select Thing

Blinky Just Wants to be Your Friend

This short film definitely borders on WTF. I can get all artsy fartsy on you and tell you how it represents neglected children reflecting the behaviors of their parental surroundings on unsuspecting less fortunate subjects and ultimately said child's temperamental control issues, but don't worry I wont. Instead, enjoy the movie for yourself.

A little side info, this short stars Max Records (the kid from Where the Wild Things Are) AND coincidentally looks like something Spike Jonze would make too, but it's not.

Blinky a film by Ruairi Robinson

New Balance 574 3M

Just an absolute CLASSIC!

Dr. Doom, Hulk & Toy Story Legos

We were in Las Vegas this weekend for March Madness and made a point to stop by one of our favorite show's shop, Pawn Stars. Chumlee wasn't there but his face sure was plastered all over merchandise. After the Pawn Stars visit we drove over to Toy Shack; which is owned by Johnny Jimenez. On the show, Johnny is often called in as "Rick's buddy" to appraise toys and drop some knowledge.

We picked up a Dr. Doom 12", an Incredible Hulk 12" and Toy Story Legos.

Boogie in Thailand

Visiting his wife's motherland, Boogie (a personal favorite of mine) snapped up some epic photos. A new book is sure to come.

Quick background on Boogie for you guys: An immigrant to America, New York specifically, with a lifelong passion for black and white photography. Rose to recent fame due to his work on the production of How To Make It In America. Boogie supplies the photography stills that have become a key characteristic of How To Make It In America's cinematographic uniqueness.

Follow the jump for 4 more pictures from his trip....

Supertalent 2010 - Alla Klyshta Hula Hoop

I already have a hard time dealing with one hula hoop sooo it's safe to say that I'm impressed. Aside from the awful techno-ish music, she's entertaining to watch. She can beat any ravers with those hula hoops.

Figure Collection

It's no secret, we have a pretty good sized collection of toys/figures. (vinyl, plastic, resin, ceramic etc.) Many of which have been pictured on here in the past. We recently purchased a few additions to the gang that should arrive in the next few days (pictures to come). Until then, here's a two quick shots of some of our goodies.

Pictionary + Legos = Creationary

Uhhhh, SOLD!

Going to go get ours tomorrow, at Target of course.

Explosive Art

Alexandre Farto takes bombing seriously, literally. Strategically placed explosives create his masterpieces.

Dope background track too.

I Know What She'll Be For Halloween

This is Supatra Sasupha (try saying that 5 times, fast), she has a seriously messed up chromosome somewhere in her DNA that left her with a really rare disease called Ambras Syndrome. The disease causes the carrier to grow really thick hair everywhere.

On the bright side, while money is wasted on razors and scissors all year long, even more money is saved on Halloween costumes. I REALLY hope she's a Star Wars fan, cause she's a dead ringer for Chewbacca.

Ironically, or not, this was the 666th post on our blog. It's a sign, hairy werewolf girls are going to take over
