The Bourne Series Continues
When I first heard one of my favorite film trilogies was going to have a new installment WITHOUT Matt Damon, I was pretty upset. However, finding out they didn't try to cast someone else as Jason Bourne but rather created an entirely new character allowed me to calm down a little. Then this trailer released, and now I'm pumped up to watch this series continue.

ParaNorman
Ok, here's another claymation. Was a fan of Coraline so it's only fitting to want to see this. Which reminds me, I should probably start searching for upcoming movies that we might wanna watch. Enjoy.

Fight For Your Right - Revisited
Will Farrell, Jack Black, John C. Reilly, Seth Rogan, Elijah Wood, Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Jason Schwartzman, Rainn Wilson, Ted Danson, Susan Sarandan, Shannyn Sossamon, Steve Buscemi, Amy Poehler, Alicia Silverstone, Chloe Sevigny, Kirsten Dunst, Maya Rudolph, David Cross and Orlando Bloom.
Yup, that's the cast for this 30 minute re-visitation of The Beastie Boys' classic "Fight For Your Right To Party". Yes, you read correctly, THIRTY MINUTES. All that talent jam packed into 30 minutes of film magic.

Harmony Korine x James Franco
I'm a fan of both, but seriously have no idea what kind of project they'd collaborate on. Franco leaked this photo via his twitter account earlier this week and now reports are that he and Korine are working on a short film project to debut at the film festivals later this year.

Panyee FC Short Film
This is a short film about a small Thai boating town's soccer team and how they came to be.
Blinky Just Wants to be Your Friend
This short film definitely borders on WTF. I can get all artsy fartsy on you and tell you how it represents neglected children reflecting the behaviors of their parental surroundings on unsuspecting less fortunate subjects and ultimately said child's temperamental control issues, but don't worry I wont. Instead, enjoy the movie for yourself.
A little side info, this short stars Max Records (the kid from Where the Wild Things Are) AND coincidentally looks like something Spike Jonze would make too, but it's not.
Blinky a film by Ruairi Robinson

Hangover 2: Trailer Looks LIke Complete Shite
Have to admit, this trailer looks like a heaping pile of shit. For the first Hangover's sake, I hope this movie isn't a shameless reel of garbage to make a buck.

A Tribe Called Quest: A Film By Michael Rapaport
Anyone that knows me must know the fact that I love Michael Rapaport. Something about the New York born and raised personality that I appreciate. So when I read about a year ago that he was producing/directing a documentary about A Tribe Called Quest I just about shit bricks. The anticipation is making my stomach hurt like bad Mexican food two minutes after consumption.
Visit the website here for more information.
And I hate to post this horrible synced video on such a classy blog but no other trailers have been leaked, sorry.

Upcoming Movies
Some movies I definitely want to check out when released. Great directors, too, from Danny Boyle to Gus Van Sant.
127 Hours (out today) by Danny Boyle
Restless by Gus Van Sant
Night Catches Us with The Roots soundtrack
All Good Things (because Ryan Gosling is damn good actor.)
William S. Burroughs documentary
The Four-Faced Liar
Tiny Furniture

Another Yawn Fest?
Do we dare give it another shot? Paranormal Activity 1 was a laugh fest for me and was full of queeziness ala Blair Witch Project-esque camera techniques (or lack thereof).
